Aqara Door and Window Sensor - Secure Your Home with Ease

Required Setup An Aqara Hub is required and must be purchased separately. Please note that this sensor is compatible only with Aqara brand hubs. For Hub M2/ M1S/ E1/M1S Gen2 and Camera Hub G2H Pro/ G2H, ensure a secured 2.4 gigahertz Wi-Fi network connection. Camera Hub G3 requires both 2.4 and 5 GHz networks. Additionally, wired connections via Ethernet RJ45 are also supported for Hub M2.

Sturdy Connection For optimal performance, place the Aqara Door and Window Sensor within 400 inches of the Aqara Zigbee hub. Ensure that both the hub and Wi-Fi router are within the same range and on the same local area network (LAN).

Unauthorized Entry Detection & Home Automation The Aqara Door/Window Sensor sends alerts to your phone and triggers the Aqara Hub's local alarm when there are unexpected door or window openings. You can also set up automations in the Aqara Home app. For example, as soon as the door is opened in the evening, the sensor will send a signal to the Aqara Wall Switch to turn on the lights.

0.86 Inch Wide Gap Allowed This sensor works with most doors, windows, and other similar fixtures, such as drawers and cabinets. Ensure the surface for adhering the sensor is flat and easily adhesive. The maximum gap allowed between the door and sensor is 0.86 inches. The main sensor unit size is 1.610.870.43 inch, and the magnet size is 0.790.390.39 inch.

Voice Control The Aqara Door and Window Sensor is compatible with Apple HomeKit and Alexa for hands-free experiences. Before connecting to Apple HomeKit or enabling skills in Google Home and Alexa, please connect the sensor to the Aqara hub. Note that the sensor is currently not compatible with SmartThings.
