Aqara Door and Window Sensor

• Compatibility: Compatible with Aqara Hub M2, M1S, E1, M1S Gen2, and Camera Hub G2H Pro/G2H. Supports wired connection via Ethernet RJ45 for Hub M2.
• Wi-Fi Requirements: Secure 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network connection required for Hub M2/M1S/E1/M1S Gen2 and Camera Hub G2H Pro/G2H. 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi for Camera Hub G3. Wired connection via Ethernet RJ45 for Hub M2 is also supported.

Sturdy Connection

• Proximity: Ensure the Aqara Door and Window Sensor is within 400 inches of the Aqara Zigbee hub. Both the hub and the router should be within the same range and on the same local area network (LAN).

Unauthorized Entry Detection & Home Automation

• Alerts: Alerts your phone and triggers the Aqara Hub’s local alarm upon unexpected door/window openings.
• Automation: Controls other Aqara devices based on door/window status. For example, when you open the door in the evening, the Aqara Door and Window Sensor sends a signal to the Aqara Wall Switch to turn on the lights.

Wide Gap Compatibility

• Functionality: Works with most types of doors, windows, and fixtures with a 0.86-inch wide gap.
• Dimensions: Main sensor unit dimensions: 1.61 x 0.87 x 0.43 inches. Magnet dimensions: 0.79 x 0.39 x 0.39 inches.
• Installation: Ensure the surface is flat and easily adhesive. The allowed gap between the door should be up to 0.86 inches.

Voice Control

• Compatibility: Compatible with Apple HomeKit and Alexa for a hands-free experience.
• Setup: Connect the Aqara Door and Window Sensor to the Aqara hub before connecting to Apple HomeKit or enabling skills in Google Home and Alexa.
• Note: Currently not compatible with SmartThings.
