Apple Home and Home Key Support

The U50 smart door lock seamlessly integrates with Apple Home. Unlock it by tapping your iPhone or Apple Watch, even when they are out of power. You can also manage and share access with guests through Apple Home. For Matter compatibility, it works with a Matter-compatible Aqara hub, offering Matter support.

Remote Passwords and Unlock

The Smart Lock U50 offers multiple unlocking methods. Use the keypad, set remote passwords via the Aqara Home app (an Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub is required), local passwords when there’s no internet, or a temporary password for visitors. Note that the NFC card is sold separately.

Automations with Aqara and Third-Party Devices

With an Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub, the U50 is compatible with Google Home, Alexa, IFTTT, and the Aqara Home app. For example, when the Aqara Video Doorbell G4 detects movement, you can view who’s at your door and unlock the U50 smart door lock.

Auto Lock & Do Not Disturb Mode

Equipped with a built-in gyroscope, the U50 locks the door automatically when you close it. You can disable this and keep it in passage mode. The Do Not Disturb mode mutes the lock sounds for a set period, ensuring a peaceful sleep after a late return.

A Durable and Secure Deadbolt Lock with Long Battery Life

Powered by 4 AA batteries (6V required and included), the U50 has a long battery life of up to 6 months. An emergency USB-C to A port is available. Built with zinc alloy, it has an IPX5 rating and complies with BHMA Level 3 standards. It withstands temperatures from -31°F to 150.8°F. Your sensitive data is stored locally and fully AES encrypted.

Rekeying with U50

The U50 cylinder is designed for easy rekeying. Simply remove the lock cylinder, have a locksmith adjust the pins to match your existing 5-pin key, and you can continue using your original key to unlock it.
