The Aqara Curtain Motor E1 supports most rods with uniform diameters of 0.99 to 1.25 inches. Grommet kits are included, making it a DIY project simple and hassle-free. Note that telescopic or extendable rods with varying thicknesses may not be compatible.

Easy Installation

No Tools Required

Mount the Aqara Curtain Motor E1 effortlessly onto your existing rod or curtain track without any additional tools. It seamlessly hides behind the curtain, preserving your room’s elegance. Ensure the motor is within 400 inches of the Aqara Zigbee hub and the hub is within 400 inches of your Wi-Fi router for optimal performance. Both the Aqara hub and your Wi-Fi router should be on the same local area network (LAN).

Elevate your home’s automation with the Aqara Curtain Motor E1. Enjoy automated window control based on weather, time, lighting conditions, or other Aqara devices. Set timers for personalized routines, ensuring the perfect ambiance every day. Automations through HomeKit, Alexa, Google Home, and IFTTT are all supported. For HomeKit integration, connect the motor to the Aqara hub first. For Alexa and Google Home, enable the corresponding skills after the initial connection to the Aqara hub.

Long Battery Life

Sustainable and Reliable

Equipped with a robust 6000 mAh rechargeable battery, the Aqara Curtain Motor E1 can operate continuously for up to a year before a recharge. The calculated battery life assumes opening and closing a curtain once a day on a 5 ft track (with two curtain drivers per window). Factors like friction, curtain weight, and type also influence battery life. Charging is user-friendly, done via a Type-A to Type-C cable with a powerbank or power supply (both not included).
