This smart sensor operates similarly to multiple PIR sensors within a single device, ensuring comprehensive coverage without the need for additional motion detectors.

For additional peace of mind, mount the FP2 on the ceiling and enable the Falling Detection Mode, which sends immediate alerts via the app if someone falls. Note that this mode is only available with ceiling placement. While the FP2 cannot replace medical devices, it serves as a valuable notify-only tool.

The Aqara Presence Sensor FP2 seamlessly integrates with HomeKit, Alexa, Google Home, and Home Assistant, making it a favorite among smart home enthusiasts.
