The Aqara Presence Sensor FP2 (2.4GHz Wi-Fi REQUIRED) offers significant advantages over PIR infrared motion sensors by using a single radar sensor to monitor rooms of up to 40 m² (430 sq ft). It can be divided into up to 30 zones, such as sofa, bed or desktop, etc., and individual automations can be set up for each zone, making it akin to having several PIR sensors in one Presence Sensor FP2. However, please note that the FP2 is a WIRED sensor that should be constantly powered.

The FP2 can simultaneously detect up to 5 people and trigger different scenarios and automation. Moreover, when mounted on the ceiling, it can be set to Falling Detection Mode, which will detect and alert users through the app if someone falls. However, it is important to note that the Falling Detection Mode is only available when the FP2 is mounted on the ceiling, and the device is not a medical device, but rather a notification tool.

The Aqara Presence Sensor FP2 is compatible with multiple smart home ecosystems, including HomeKit, Alexa, Google Home, and Home Assistant. The device can be added directly to Home Assistant using the HomeKit Controller integration, and it can be integrated easily without requiring an Aqara hub, making it a great solution for smart home enthusiasts. The Aqara Indoor Camera G2H Pro offers comprehensive HomeKit Secure Video support, preventing hackers from accessing your data and protecting your privacy at home. It supports face and package recognition, and the notifications are processed locally on your HomeKit hub. Users can also communicate with their family using the two-way audio feature while viewing real-time video images remotely. However, please note that the power adapter is not included.

The G2H Pro records video in 1080p Full HD with a 146° wide-angle lens, providing stable and smooth video both day and night. It will notify users via smartphone and built-in siren, and record a short clip in case of an abnormal sound or motion being detected. The short clip will be sent to the cloud immediately (no subscription or monthly fees required), while the full footage will be recorded locally.
